Overall, the Site resource estimator is responsible for the ff:

  • Work pack creation – compile information, estimate man-hours
  • Work pack modification and amendments after receiving from the Front-End Team (FET)
  • Registering of issued spade lists from Woodside operations
  • Procurement of spades & blinds shortfall when required through SAP Purchase requisitions
  • Reviewing of material status via the demand visibility dashboard and ensuring expediting occurs

Other general responsibilities include but are not limited to the ff:

  • Deliver business objectives. Assist with managing the overall execution of the campaign and the integration of all campaign functions to achieve deliverables.
  • Solve functional problems, identify and assist with problems and uncertainties to ensure successful campaign delivery
  • Quality Assurance, Work in accordance with quality assurance procedures based on customer requirements and the client’s QA processes
  • Manage resource efficiency, Analyse information, generate alternatives, and commit to solutions that ensure the efficient use of the campaigns resources. Ensure that work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Resilient Contributor, Approach change positively and adjust quickly when faced with changes in campaign requirements
  • Internal consultant/ technical expert, Answer queries regarding both general, technical/engineering and progress/schedule related issues. Provide technical advice and support to campaign staff involved in the execution of works.
  • Engage customers to deliver services, Manage and build strong customer relationships, coordinating communications. Establish campaign plans based on prioritised tasks, available resources, work schedules, and campaign milestones
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in supplying services to the engineering construction or industrial maintenance in the Oil and Gas industry. Liquefied Natural Gas plant experience beneficial.
  • Skills / Knowledge Description:
    • Project Management Fundamentals
    • Demonstrate an understanding and delivery of core elements of coordinating campaign style work
    • Computer programs & applications MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
    • Must be able to interpret P6 schedules Ability to use 3D models (i.e. Navisworks, BentleyView etc.) Beneficial
    • Quality Assurance Work in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures, based on customer and ISO requirements
    • Working knowledge in AutoCAD and/or SAP is an advantage, but not required
